RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
Load/unload materials to be used
Build/dismantle bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures
Running a variety of hand and power tools or tend equipment and machines
Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or other workers
Aid craftworkers with their tasks
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Working at heights with the use of mobile equipment and ladders carrying up to 30 lbs
Often required to stand, use hands to hold hand and power tools, handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally, the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Works safely near and around highway traffic and noisy operations
Ability to lift or carry up to 30 or 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs

Operate heavy equipment in a safe, efficient and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product in the paving process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, graders, dozers, excavators, backhoe and skid steers.
Perform general maintenance and inspection on the equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
(3) to five (5) years of operating heavy equipment preferred
Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons

CDL-A Dump Truck Driver
Position Summary
Operate a CDL-A dump truck in a safe, efficient, and professional manner to transport construction materials, aggregates, asphalt, and equipment to and from job sites while supporting paving, underground utility, and earthwork operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Safely operate a CDL-A dump truck on public roads and construction sites.
Transport aggregates, asphalt, sand, gravel, topsoil, spoils, and other construction materials.
Load, haul, and unload materials while ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and jobsite personnel to coordinate deliveries.
Operate safely around heavy equipment, construction crews, and the general public.
Assist with minor truck maintenance, cleaning, fueling, and routine inspections.
Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or equipment damage promptly.
Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Assist with general labor duties when trucking operations are not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
Previous dump truck or heavy construction driving experience preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to safely maneuver trucks on construction sites and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb in and out of trucks multiple times throughout the day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit, drive, and operate controls for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
